Supporting Military Veterans and Local Restaurants with Gift Card Donations
In response to the COVID-19 situation, we're using funds from our Veterans Food Security Program to purchase and donate $2500 in gift cards from local restaurants to the Veterans Services office who will distribute them to North Andover military Veterans so they can order delivery or take-out from home. Read on below to learn more about the Veterans Food Security Program and how to donate.

Helping Military Veterans in our Community
The Farmers Market launched the Veterans Food Security Program in 2019 in conjunction with North Andover Veterans Services to provide North Andover’s low-income Veterans with assistance accessing the quality products available at our market. Much of the funding for this program is due to the generosity of the North Andover Merchants Association and local businesses.
How does the program work?
The Veterans Services office distributes vouchers donated by the Farmers Market to eligible Veterans. When the Veterans come to shop at the Market, they can purchase items from any of our vendors using the vouchers. Vendors collect the vouchers and are reimbursed using funds from the Food Security Program. In 2019, $2,400 in vouchers were used at the Market and we anticipate this number will go up every year.
How can you help?
Donations are always needed to keep this program going! Donations can be made on this page or by mailing a check made out to:
