Helping Military Veterans in our Community

 

The Farmers Market launched the Veterans Food Security Program in 2019 in conjunction with North Andover Veterans Services to provide North Andover’s low-income veterans with access to quality products available at our market. Much of the funding for this program comes from the North Andover Merchants Association and local businesses. But you can help too!

How does the program work?

The Veterans Services office distributes vouchers donated by the Farmers Market to eligible veterans. When the veterans come to shop at the market, they can purchase items from any of our vendors using the vouchers. Vendors are reimbursed using funds from the Food Security Program.
